The Santa Fe Depot’s Grand Lobby is once again available for the public to rent for meetings and special events for the fall and holiday season. After putting a hold on rentals to accommodate repairs to the building’s foundation, rental reservations can now resume. The building repairs will be complete in October, so reservations can be made for events taking place in November 2013 and after.
“We are very excited to finish the foundation repairs and let people utilize the beautiful Grand Lobby for special events,” said Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum Director, Stephanie Long. “The Santa Fe Depot has always been a popular venue for weddings, receptions, meetings, banquets, reunions, and a variety of other special events. Our location offers a beautiful, historic setting, as well as a convenient downtown location with plenty of parking. The Santa Fe Gardens and the garden gazebo also offer a unique outdoor setting near our historic train collection.”
Reservations can be made to rent the Grand Lobby or the gazebo. The holiday season schedule is starting to fill-up, so reservations for holiday celebrations should be made soon. Call us at 254-298-5172.
