The Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum Archives focuses on the history of the Santa Fe and the railroads of Texas, but it also contains information on many different railroads from around the country. The reference material found in the archives includes photographs, timetables, engineering drawings, mechanical records, maps, books and assorted railroad related documents.
The museum archives and library is open to the public Monday –Friday from 10:00-4:00. Please call or e-mail for an appointment.

Anyone wishing to visit on Saturday must also make an appointment. Requests for information can either be made by e-mail or phone. During the year hundreds of requests are received, so please allow two to four days for a response. Research fees may be applied.
The Archives of the Railroad & Heritage Museum are extensive and include several important collections. They are a resource for researchers throughout the nation.
